Attention freelance entertainers who book their own gigs...

The Stage Makes You Known.
The Office Makes You Successful.

Something shifted recently. Perhaps it was during the ShowBiz Accelerator.
Maybe it's been building inside of you for years.
Either way - this is how you make it permanent.

Let's Talk About the Business You're Running Right Now.

Not the one you want. The one you have today.

The phone/email/text rings. You get excited. Then they ask "how much?" and you either panic or lowball yourself — and you know it.
You're doing okay. Maybe even really well some months. But it's not systematic. It's luck, rando clients, and word-of-mouth hope.
You've been meaning to build a real prospecting system for years. You keep meaning to.
You know you're worth more than you're charging. But you don't have a system to overcome comparisons with the cheapest act on GigSalad.
After every great month, there's a slow stretch that reminds you this business isn't stable enough to build the next chapter of your life around.
You have no shortage of talent. What you're missing is the system.

None of these points, and dozens more like them, represent character flaws. They point out a very common training gap. The exact gaps that ShowBiz Blueprint was built to close.

Nothing is as it was before SBBP

"The panic, the doubt, the fear - all of it that was so familiar before ShowBiz Blueprint - has been replaced by the calm, confidence, and trust of the systems I now use in my business. Thank you, Barry, for always over-delivering in everything you do."

What's the Real Cost of Staying Where You Are?

I'll make it simple. You know what a right-fit gig is worth to you - let's call it $2,500 (your numbers WILL vary but stay with the math).

How many of those are you losing every year because you don't have the systems that land you in the arena of consideration? Two? Five? One per month? Two per month? More?

Twelve missed right-fit gigs at $2,500 each is $30,000 gone*

*Not because you aren't talented enough. Because you were never taught the systems that have prospects praying you're available for them.

A survey across SBBP alumni tells us that the annual cost of running your business on hope is a minimum of 38x the investment in this program. That math only gets harder to ignore as the gap between those running their business with systems vs those who run it on hope continues to grow.

The program runs once a year. Application period is now open

Eight Weeks from Now, Here's What's Different.

Not different 'someday'. Different over the next two months and beyond.

You know who a right-fit client is — and you stop chasing everyone else.
You have a pipeline. Not a wish list. An actual pipeline with actual names and an actual follow-up system running in the background whether you're on stage or on vacation.
You know what to say when they ask "how much?" Because price is just a line item — and you finally believe that.
You send proposals that clients actually read and respond to. Proposals that make you look like a trusted advisor, not a vendor begging to get picked.
You close deals without chasing. Without following up seventeen times and feeling desperate. You've become someone who makes it easy to say, "Yes" - and you excel at saying "No" to what isn't yours.
And regarding money: the stage is still where you earn it. But the office is now where you make it.

I regularly do what seems impossible - but now I do it in my office!

"I recently booked my highest paying gig using the exact system that Barry taught me to use. I booked a $15,000 contract presenting a keynote and I didn't even have a video to show the client! This is a whole different way to run a business than anything you might have ever imagined."

Here's What You Get Inside ShowBiz Blueprint 2026:

This isn't a course you buy and forget. This is an operating system upgrade for the rest of your career — and a community you never leave.

Intense Focus

Two Weeks Per Pillar - No Overwhelm, No Shortcuts.

There are four pillars to a thriving entertainment business: finding prospects, talking to them, proposing to them, and closing the deal.

We spend two weeks on each. Not a lecture - a full immersion. You learn it, you apply it to your actual business, and you get coached on what isn't working.

By the end of eight weeks, every pillar is functioning. Not as a concept. As a habit.

Weekly Live Coaching/Q&A

Bring Real Sticking Points. We Unstick Them. Live.

Every Tuesday after a module drops, and again the following Monday. You bring your actual challenges - a prospect who ghosted, a proposal you're not sure about, a market you're trying to crack - and the coaches go to work.

Up to 90 minutes. Replays within 24 hours.

This is not office hours. This is a situation/solution room.

This was a significant investment and it has paid off in countless ways

"This is a team with a proven track-record who show up for the members and know how to deliver the transformation that entertainers come here to get."

Two-Track Progress

Opportunities This Month. A Real Business This Year.

You'll run two tracks at once. Track one is the fastest path to cash - what you can do right now, this week, to book more shows.

Track two is the long game — the business architecture that creates consistent income even in slow seasons.

Both tracks move forward every week. Neither one waits for the other.

Guest Faculty

The People You'd Never Normally Get a Meeting With.

With 34 years in show business, and 15 years in coaching, I've built relationships with experts in social media, SEO, LinkedIn, event production, branding, mindset, and money management.

Some of them are expensive to hire privately. Some are impossible to access at all. You get them all - past faculty plus new voices added for 2026.

You'll leave each session with action steps and systems you can use immediately.

Barry and the coaches hold nothing back

"ShowBiz Blueprint showed me how to awaken the business giant that was sleeping within me. Implement the steps and you'll instantly begin to elevate your show business career."

Accountability Groups

The People Who Won't Let You Slide.

You'll be assigned to a small group that meets weekly -  about 30 minutes and runs on a protocol I've tested across dozens of cohorts.

These aren't cheerleader calls. They're commitment calls.

Some of these groups are still going with original members years after graduation.

That's not a coincidence. That's what happens when serious people do serious work together.

Member Portal

Every Format. Every Learning Style. Four Pillars.

Video, audio, transcripts, executive summaries, templates, and support documents - all in one place.

Four pillars make the mission clear and the lessons/coaching/guests are on target.

You will never wonder what to do next. We meet you where you are and point you exactly where to go.

And whether you like to watch, listen, read, or skim the transcripts - we got you covered.

Blueprinter for Life

Alumni Get Rando Check-Ins. That's Not an Accident.

When you graduate, you don't get a certificate and a wave goodbye. You get added to a private alumni community that has been running continuously since 2011.

It's a little like a cult. Except the only thing we worship is a profitable show business career.

Alumni speak the same language, pass right-fit referrals to each other, and Barry often checks in - just because that's who he is.

You'll wonder how you ever operated without this group behind you.

Performance Series

At SBBP, for the most part, we stay out of your act.

But over the years Barry sat down with six award-winning stage professionals for deep, extended conversations about what separates a good act from an unforgettable one.

Audio. Character. Costume. Comedy. Props. Stagecraft.

An hour with any one of these people could change your performance forever. You get all six.

These are locked away in a Bonus Module that you'll gain access to once you find your legs in the four main pillars.

Giggy™ — Your SBBP Coach. In Your Pocket. On Call.

It's 10pm. You just got an inquiry. And you want to channel exactly the right words for this specific situation - and it would be so awkward to DM Barry :

That's what Giggy is for.

Giggy is a custom AI coaching assistant trained in the full methodology of ShowBiz Blueprint — everything the team has taught, spoken about, written, and coached members through since 2011.

And it knows you! The first thing Giggy asks you to do is fill out a Full Giggy Profile so it can actually coach you. Meet you where you're at right now, know where you are heading, and connect the dots to create the best action steps for you to get there.

It knows the four pillars. It knows the trusted advisor framework. It knows the proposals, the follow-up strategy, the pricing conversations. It knows the language that books gigs with real life bookers.

When you need a thought partner at 10pm, or a second opinion on a proposal draft, or help thinking through a prospect conversation before it happens — Giggy is there. Instantly. Without judgment.

You'll have unlimited access to Giggy for all 8 weeks of the program, plus four additional months. That's 6 months total.

The ShowBiz Bluerprint has taught this old dog more than a few new tricks!

"I highly recommend you take a very close look at this program. It'll pay for itself many times over. I told Barry I wouldn't do a testimonial until I had booked 5 shows at a much higher price than I typically quoted. Well, here's your testimonial - just a few months later!"

I Was Great on Stage.
I Was Better in the Office.

For 34 years, I performed as half of The Raspyni Brothers. We were good. We got on television. We did the Presidential Command Performance, Lear Jet tours, thousands of corporate gigs. We were among the handful of acts who, in the mid-'80s helped define & build the modern corporate entertainment market.

By most measures, we had a remarkable run.

But here's what most people don't know: the act didn't land those gigs. The office did. While we were performing, I was also running the marketing operation behind it — building relationships, sending proposals, following up with the persistence and professionalism that turned a comedy juggling act into a legitimate business machine.

I was living the blueprint before I had a name for it.

In 2011, I turned everything I'd learned into the ShowBiz Blueprint. Since then, over 400 alumni have gone through the program. 14 have delivered TEDx Talks. The program carries a Net Promoter Score of 9.8 — a number you almost never see in online education.

My mission hasn't changed: make marketing simple, enjoyable, and — most importantly — learnable. Because you are not a luxury. You are the light in the room. And the world deserves to find you.

14 Days. Full Refund. No Runaround.

Spend your first two weeks inside the program. Do the work. Show up to the calls. Dig into the PreCourse and Module 1. If you don't immediately see how this changes the way you approach your business — not someday, but right now — send me an email and I'll refund every dollar. Promptly. No drama.

I've been doing this since 2011. I have never had to honor this guarantee because the program delivers. But it's there — because I want you in this program, not chained to it.

Questions about the ShowBiz Blueprint? Email and we'll reply promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions About ShowBiz Blueprint

Will this work for me and my act?

I have to play the odds on answering this one. There's a high probability that if you work the program, you won't recognize yourself in 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 6 months, or certainly in a year.

I don't know where you're starting from but alumni have come from all levels of success and found new mindsets, practices, tools, and strategies for building their business.

My best advice:
Show up coachable.
Check your ego at the door.
Trust the process.
Take risks that scare you.

When will I make my investment back?

This is a close cousin of the first question, isn't it? And my answer is similar.

If you are willing to get really uncomfortable - like seeing how quickly you can implement what you learn and get to a 100 No's, you'll find some delicious Yes's in there that will be, if history is any indicator, the most satisfying gigs of your life.

We move out of the realm of waiting and into creating - and that's a whole different world than most entertainers have ever played in.

My best advice:
Show up coachable.
Check your ego at the door.
Trust the process.
Take risks that scare you.

Why do I have to pay before I apply?

It's one of the best ways to assure that neither of us are wasting our time and are fully present for the application process. At any point during the written or live interview, either of us can end the process and all payments will be immediately refunded.

We both put something on the line that is valuable to us.

Who is this guy, Barry Friedman, anyway?

Fair enough... I started on the hot/sweaty-or-cold/rainy stages of Renaissance Festivals across America back in 1982. As 1/2 of the Raspyni Brothers I made my name in a strange little niche of show business that we actually helped to create: Corporate Entertainment. That's a market that requires Wall Street Level skills in communicating a message, making proposals, and delivering results.

In the '80s and '90s I made a pretty big mark on television (when, ya know, that was a thing!) including The Tonight Show, a Showtime Comedy Special, a Presidential Command Performance, and a ton of other shows. During those years I also toured as an opening act for everyone who was anyone on the national touring circuit including Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Tom Jones, Howie Mandel, Patti LaBelle, and about 24 others.

In more modern times I used my network and business chops to become who the curator of the TED Conference called "two guys who have brought more laughs to TED than all other speakers combined!" 6 Main Stage TED Talks without ever having invented or cured anything.

In 2011, I created something called The ShowBiz Blueprint and have run it at least annually since that time.

I strongly believe that entertainers are here to save the world by telling/showing culture when it's ok to connect, laugh, and live.

Will I learn anything I don't already know?

During our 8 weeks together, and for the rest of your career going forward, you're going to be immersed in the processes that separate you from the pack. These processes were all developed and/or perfected by Barry during his 34-year career as 1/2 of the comedy/juggling act, The Raspyni Brothers.

Put it this way: if you get an inquiry and either a) tell them your price and availability or b) go into panic mode about how you are "going to sell yourself," you're entire world of chaos is about to change. If you see your fee as anything more than a simple line item in your proposal, you're going to bathe in the peace of how you run your business going forward.

Systems, measurable metrics, strategies for building relationships, making offers, and using powerful mental triggers are foundations for how we run business in this world. And if you already know and do all that, you'll still find a dozen ways to change everything about your business.

How much time is required to do the program?

A couple answers...
1. You could sneak by and listen to the modules, attend the weekly live meeting, and only invest a few hours a week. That alone will get under your skin and get you thinking differently about your market, position, value, and relationships.

2. You can do an hour a day and rewire your thinking so the blueprint happens automatically. That is an average - some days will be lighter and some you might not want to come up for air.

3. The ShowBiz Blueprint is a long-game, life changer... We've had members who couldn't make the live calls and still thrive in the course and community - and most importantly in their business.

4. There are two live coaching calls for each module. They are every other Tuesday beginning April 14th and every other Monday beginning April 20th. They last up to 90-minutes and Recordings, Transcripts, and Executive Summaries are sent out within 24 hours.

How long will I have access to the training?

You will have access to the modules, bonuses, resources, and ever-growing library of content for at least 11 years. At the end of your 8-week session of SBBP, you'll be added to the alumni group which is the place you've been looking for your entire career.

What if others in my market are using SBBP to market their act?

Count on it - and, quit standing up on a shaky ladder to look over the fence and see what others are doing!

In this program, I'm going to turn off a whole lot of noise, time-wasters, and other lousy practices that are keeping you where you're at.

Is there 1:1 coaching time with Barry or any of the coaches as part of the program?

No. ShowBiz Blueprint is a group coaching program. That said - you'll get 1:1 time in a group with Barry and our coaching team on our weekly group Q&A calls.

I don't work corporate markets. Does this still make sense for me?

We have alumni who do everything from kid's parties to Broadway - and literally everything in between.

The principles of ShowBiz Blueprint will make you stand out in YOUR market and rise above the noise, price wars, and overall race-to-the-bottom that so many entertainers typically use for running their business.

Why can't I find any negative posts/comments/reviews of the ShowBiz Blueprint?

I'm not exactly sure, but it probably has something to do with how hard I made it it join. By the time you're accepted (after making a payment, completing a written application, and having a live interview with me) we are both on the same page with regard to expectations, what we're each bringing to the table, willingness to go all in, and what might get in the way of this working.

This isn't a program where you pay a fee and I forget about you. For 8 weeks and beyond I am up in your face and you are showing up bigger than you ever knew you could.

Who's going to experience THAT and then complain about it?!

If you have other questions, send an email.

The Application Period is Open Now... It Won't Be For Long

This program runs once a year. Enrollment is limited because the quality of the coaching depends on keeping the group to the right size. If this page is live, there's still room. But there isn't unlimited room and the formal course begins on April 10th.

Once you apply, turn in your written application, and meet with us for a 15-minute interview. We've done this since the beginning because we need to believe we can get you to the next level. After acceptance, you'll have access to the PreCourse Module - with Module 1 dropping on April 10th.

The accountability group was so important to me. I never missed a deadline.

"ShowBiz Blueprint is a Masters degree - except this one you can actually use to build the career of your dreams. You learn how to define the future you want and create it quite naturally. "
