What is The ShowBiz Blueprint?
In 2011, Barry was getting restless. As 1/2 of the Raspyni Brothers, he was on the road 100+ dates a year performing for audiences at corporate events, TED Conferences, and other special events. The restlessness came in the form of a calling to do something that both scared him and threatened his comfort zone.
The ShowBiz Blueprint (SBBP) was born from a deep analysis and documentation of the exact practices and mindsets that made the Raspyni Brothers one of the most successful touring acts for 34 years. All practical. Nothing theoretical.
Why The Black Edition - Why Now?
Spring of 2020 was set to mark the 16th sold-out edition of the ShowBiz Blueprint. But since the course required students to instantly implement what they learned, it wasn't the time to show entertainers how to book live performances.
Stories of Brooks, Floyd, Taylor, Prude, and countless other Black victims of police violence haunted Barry and that led to an exploration of countless books, lectures, and articles about whiteness, blackness, social justice, and his own unconscious biases and how they restricted his perspective.
Barry and four Black alumni of his training program will facilitate this immersive experience into how to level-up your success as a Black artist or entertainer.
